Tricity™ was just an idea on a 6-paged document when they started.
They didn’t have their name (They used to call themselves Bolt), they didn’t have their marketing strategy figured out, and they were looking for an investor that could bring their idea to life.
Tricity™ wants to lead Ethiopia’s electric vehicle (EV) future. Their goal is to become the #1 brand for charging vehicles, powering connections, and sparking conversations.
They want to start with building their branding and search for investors who can help them build this idea into reality.
Tricity had a strong vision to lead Ethiopia’s EV future, but they struggled to turn the idea into a clear plan and build a unique brand that could help them stand out.
They didn’t have a strong, memorable name—something bigger than just an EV charging service. And when reaching out to investors, they lacked high perceived value and didn’t make a great first impression. They needed to build their brand to:

Now that we have our new logo, we can build the brand identity design & system that elevates the brand experience at every touch points, here are some of the things we have done:
We went on to refine the color palette. Aiming to enhance the brand’s visual identity, whose foundation remains rooted in deep, earthy tones that have symbolized WeShip’s stability in alcohol logistics. The aim was to strengthen the brand’s character while maintaining recognition.
